Replying to nobody

Security is only as effective as its adoption rate.

This is the Achilles heel of every messenger, every decentralized communications protocol, every tool that gets built.

Until it is as smooth and feature rich as the tools provided by big tech/data it will never reach a critical adoption rate. If nobody you need to communicate with is on a platform, it doesn't serve to improve your privacy either.

Being aware of your threat profile is essential. Secure enough is definitely a thing, but I wonder if Facebook or SMS ever meets that standard.
