You can’t rely on others to build your community. I believe being very diligent with your follows is key. It’s actually a value. The American way is to outsource responsibility to a third party.

Problem with latest notes mainly relates to different time zones. Giving more weight to some of my follows would fix that.

Under 400 follows was really boring for me.

I'd like not to use twitter anymore that would be the main objective.

Same here re Twitter. And agree with you re content. Still a bit light. I think though putting in the work curating your follows will add quality and strengthen the community. I noticed that the “influencers” often don’t follow back on Nostr. They are still used to the Twitter fame. They’ll have to put in the work too if they are really interested in the community.
