What do you mean. My ancestors lived here for centuries, millenia even. I'm the actual descendant of the same people who you claim, falsely, to be the original sole owners without proof except a book only you and the person sent you my way believe in. You falsify evidence of having a genetic connection to my ancestors, and claim, falsely, them to be yours only.

For millenia, I owned the land, empires came and empires went, I owned the land. Most remaining jews after exodus from Palestine converted to Christianity, and later most of those converted to Islam.

Palestine has always been a melting pot for multiple cultures, multiple nations, multiple tribes, and multiple societies. It was never owned by Jews and Jews only. Even during the heyday of their ancient kingdoms, they shared the land with others. Current day Palestinians are the descendants of all these cultures, nations, tribes, and societies.

Having said that, you're welcome to live on the land as a guest, but you're absolutely not welcome to dominate it.

I do not mean the nation that lived on the land, for as you rightly pointed out, there were different peoples living on the piece of land. I mean the state. What state owned the land before a third party gave it to Israel?

Well, that's a complex issue. It's been under Ottoman rule for centuries before the invention of nation states in the Peace of Westphalia; i.e. the question of which state is moot here.

The British, the far away stranger, conquered it away from Ottomans in WW1, promising multiple parties the land after.

Why does it matter though? Nigerians got their independence without imposition of foreigners to live with them, so did Indians. Palestinians didn't.

Okay. I'll adjust my question to take into account your fair corrections. I illegally took your house. You took my children hostage in response. What do you think I should do? What kind of response do you expect from me?

With all that I said and explained, resistance is the natural response from the oppressed. Obviously, you won't take take it lightly, as did all the oppressors in the world before you.

Whatever response you do just adds to your list of crimes. Reframing it in any other way would simply as much of a crime in order to cover up for the oppressor.

Bro, don't be nervous. Why accuse me of something I'm not going to do. I'm reasoning with you calmly, trying to figure things out. I live in a world where a man is responsible for his actions and words. If I decide to hit you, I understand that you will hit me back. I recognize your right to self-defense, as well as myself. If you hit me back, I won't throw a tantrum or complain, because in my man's world this is natural. If I take your family hostage, I don't expect you to cowardly remain silent. I realize and accept with full responsibility that you will inflict damage on me in return. War is war. Here they exchange blows, not complain. Those who fight on the front lines understand this perfectly well. If you think that your brothers and sisters are being exterminated, you need to protect them. This is your sacred male duty and responsibility. I don't understand why you don't fight in Palestine with weapons in your hands, shoulder to shoulder with your brothers in arms. I don't understand why you complain instead of doing your direct and primary business. So don't get nervous, brother, and don't insult people without reason. Go to Palestine and fight. And leave social networks to women. They can afford to be hysterical and complain, because they will never understand our men's lives. May Allah help you, brother.

Sorry if I came across as throwing tantrums or whatever. I was just going along with the analogy. Not accusing you personally with anything. 🤷🏽‍♂️

If only I can go and fight. Unfortunately, I can't.

Yes, I expected no less than a genocide when 7 Oct happened. Unfortunately, we're dealing with one of the most evil regimes that ever existed.

And, yes, you're absolutely correct, men in the front lines fight not complain.

Now, I just wanted to clarify the picture from the Arab perspective. I hope the picture is clearer now.

Think about this. Whenever you start talking about the suffering of civilians, you look weak in the eyes of serious people. You look like a victim and play the devil's advocate. You cast a shadow of shame on your brothers who are busy with serious work. You can portray yourself as you like. But don't you dare portray us as victims! We are not victims looking for pity. We do not sacrifice ourselves. We are fighting to live on this earth, and not to rot in it while people like you live in comfort. Don't you dare open your mouth about us and our struggle. I hope you understand me. By the way, why can't you be with us?

Honestly, I'm confused.

At one moment, you're inquiring about the situation and the big picture from the perspective of Palestinian struggle. Now you're accusing me of victimizing you?

I'm not victimizing anyone. If anything, I'm supporting the resistance on the ground who are struggling to relieve the Israeli oppression from their families.

Who are you? And what have you to do with any of this? And how did I portray you as a victim?

Shame? What do you know of shame? Shame is when you know the truth, and know your responsibility, and can do nothing about it. You think I don't know shame? Pity and shame is on us who are on the sidelines watching, if I'm absolutely honest. At least the Gazans die in honor, we will die like cowards.

Why can't you come here?

Here where? I thought you were "trying to figure it out". This means you're not Palestinian.. So you're either a troll or playing games. Either way, you either clarify, or I'm gone.

I asked you a simple question

You ask it as if people are able to help the situation and are free to join the fight. I'm only a simple Muslim man in my country far away from the struggle, yet close enough to the issue to make me follow it closely and have personal stake in Al-Quds and Palestine in general.

Now, you answer mine.

You didn't answer. If you don't understand the question, I'll help you: I'm interested in the reason why you can't come to help your brothers.

The powers that be prevents us. Your question is general, my answer will be general.

I'm done with this, I answered your question in ernest, yet you keep ignoring mine. So... Again, I hope you got something out of this conversation.
