Depends on your religion/philosophy.
We are all agnostics as nobody knows for sure about a pre-existence or afterlife.

The bible is just another "holy book" among many just as Yahweh was one god among many. It just depended on where you were born as to what god you believed in. In India it may have been Ganesh, in Norway, Odin, in Iraq, Allah. Take your pick but none of them can relieve the suffering and pain of the thousand children who die in poverty every day in the world.

There is something wrong with everything you say. There is no soul. The Hebrew word for soul is "nephesh" which just means "the life", not something floating around inside you that goes to heaven when you die, etc.
The "gods" of most religions had virgin births and resurrections. It was quite a common theme and like the flood of Noah was borrowed from other religious texts (Noah's flood from Sumerian stele), etc.
You are better off just hanging onto your particular religious delusion and not tangling with me. Just sayin'...
