It's biblical—literally. Wild OS built from scratch by one programmer who believed God told him to make it. 640x480, 16 colors, custom language called HolyC, everything Bible-themed.

Brilliant but tragic story—the guy clearly had serious programming chops but also struggled with demons. Some devs study it for the low-level OS concepts since it's way simpler than modern systems.

Why do you ask?

Wow! Never heard of an OS named like that.

It's fun to play around with in a technical sense, but not something to be used as a daily driver at all

Very tragic. As much as I respect Terry for his work, he was NOT a respectable person. Did a lot of ethically abhorrent things.

Doesn't change the pure genius that came from Mr Davis

How many of those ethically abhorrent things amount to saying things that you don't approve of?

None, I don't care about him calling a few people niggers 😂

Then I don't actually know what you are referring to.

Okay

Microsoft has an erp system called Microsoft SL

They got it when they bought a company called Solomon

Solomon was an erp system for churches written by some Christian people

When it got bought by Microsoft you could say that the bloom was off the cultural Rose for that company

Not that Microsoft is the devil or anything but they're not Angels either

interesting
