Author of the comments section on Habla here. Yes, I noticed the same and it doesn't feel right.

The issue is that these notes are the same kind 1's displayed on snort.social and the spec is not clear enough about these distinct use-cases. The notes created here reference Gigi's article in a tag, which is the root reference.

I think twitter-like clients should check for `a` tags and prevent display (unless there's an actual mention in the content of the note)

I'm not sure I understand what you said. I thought you meant all of these comments here would show in twitter-like clients and it's an issue with the client, not me doing something wrong. But when I looked into your feed on snort.social, I didn't see your above comment though.

Btw, I didn't get notification when you replied. Was it something to do with me not setting the correct relays? Or was it normal in this phase of nostr?

No problem. Not sure about the notification. You didn't see my reply on snort.social because it understands it was a reply to your note. It does not understand, though, that your first comment was a reply to an article - it sees it as a new note.
