Sold the car. We’re a 1-car family for the time being. Onward 🚀

That sucks… worse when it’s your car though and you have to use the wife’s… last year I went about 4 months with mine being in the shop… and then a deer totaled her car while I was driving it… got her a new one and I still had to drive it for a couple months till I could buy a new one for me… I felt so bad with her and the kids trapped at home all that time

Good for you, tho I am sorry to hear your decision was made for you so abruptly.

We are, too. There are inconveniences, but it's by design and choice. SATs > wheels.

It’s hugely inconvenient. My wife works in multiple offices, some up to an hour or more away, so it’s usually not feasible for me to just drop her off at work and keep the car for the day. Other options like public transportation or Uber aren’t viable due to location/cost. So we’ll likely have to get something sooner than later. But for now we’re doing what we have to to make it work.

Oof. That's a rough commute. Godspeed.

Thanks 😂 We’ll make it 🙏

Did this 2020-2022 with a large family. There was only a schedule conflict once.
