Yesterday I found myself saying, "Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency."
May try that out for a while.

Cryptocurrency is a limiting term. The use cases of Bitcoin is proving to expand beyond simple comparisons like currency.
Does Bitcoin serve other functions, beyond acting as a currency?
I once heard a cool idea. Bitcoin serves as a massive treasure trove if the cryptography is cracked, and so Bitcoin serves another purpose as a worldwide alarm should it happen. I think they were referencing quantum computers.
Bitcoin, has recently proven to have use cases in the energy sector, too.
I recently saw national parks using on site resources to mine and provide revenue for said park.
