Of course. The only way it doesn't is if you consider animals to be objects, which the majority of people don't.
Statism is indeed, deeply imbedded into the world. Wolves, lions, bears, and raccoons etc all violate the NAP on a regular basis. It’s ok though because one day we will fix it.
