Thanks mate. My go to settings for these shots are ISO3200, f2.8, 25 second exposure on a tripod. This was on the 24-70mm lens at 24mm on a Sony A7R2 which has pretty good low light performance. Any longer than 25sec at 24mm and you start to get star trails from the earth spinning. I love playing around with these shots as you never know what you’re going to get!

Yeah relatively, this shot is facing south. You can still see it vaguely around towns but the darker showers the better. Some I’ve seen at sea have been incredible
