If standing burns a bridge, I still won't buckle.
I have a client where I performed several hours of clerical duties each week during July. I was asked for tax forms, which I submitted promptly. They asked me to submit my hours for payment. Now they're claiming they didn't hire me.
There are several points during my attempts at getting paid where I could have given in, made a lesser deal, or let them lead me down whatever twisted path they have in mind.
Instead, I'm standing firmly, and holding them to their agreement. They have no clue that the money is no longer the issue, and that their "Integrity Coin" balance is about to go negative.
