I can't understand why razor blades are still associated with suicide. How many chances are there of finding Voskhod blades in the bathroom of a modern teenager? Everyone has somehow forgotten how thousands of teenagers poisoned themselves with match heads, but refuse to do so with blades.

And frankly, I think there's a lot of corporate involvement. Cut-throat razors or suicide blades whose patent expired in the 70s are bad because they are durable and cheap, but electric smart razors or blades in proprietary cartridges are good because they bring their creators super profits.

They are readily available at the supermarket near me, Wilkinson sword brand

DE blades have always been produced and always sold, but how justified is their image as suicide blades now? Silent Hill: The Short Message (2024) gathered bingo at once. Here both a blade and a single edge razor (kind of a shavet) are together. Things that not every bearded pensioner will find at home.

Who the fuck even knows what a shavet is? It looks like modern media are afraid to display the actual tool of suicide among teenagers and simply roll by inertia on objects that tiktok's generation did not hold in their hands.

Yeah, which is weird. A lot of people are becoming more and more insulated from these things

Used to be there was washing soda and borax in laundry now only all these shitty perfumed weird chemical shit, try to find plain whole milk, lol, where? It's getting really disturbing how insulated people are from reality
