I'm rich because I don't preorder over-advertised consumer garbage and don't need to buy games on the year they are released.

90 dollars for the latest Nintendo game?

Get the fuck outta here.

Or you could buy a chess board for $5 at a garage sale.

Lasts a lifetime, too.

Unless you get angry when you lose.

Exactly. I bought only 2 day-one releases in the past five years. Last was Kingdom Come 2, partially because I am Czech.

Most of the time I buy games in 70%+ discount. That way I get fair value for most of it anyway.

Good Old Games is your friend btw... ❤️

My favourite store. They are the only one to let you keep your games forever.

well, I'm less poor because...

I guess you refer to the Switch 2. Nintendo games are the only games I really like and enjoy, and price of main Nintendo titles are not on sales for a couple of years at least and never more than 33% down. So by on release or not dosen't change much.

However I'm not taking par of the geo scam arbitrage. I have set my account in Norway, anf would change each time it's necessery, as price in my country are 40-60% more expensive than Norway or South Africa usually.

Also I try to buy only games I will really play and don't buy to many games in parallel if I didn't finish one enough.

Not wholly, but yes.

BUt in any case:

NEVER PREORDER
