AltStore is an alternative to the iOS App Store that uses a workaround to install apps (self-signing as a developer)

Tradeoffs are: you need to re-sign installed apps every 7 days from a desktop app (over usb of wifi), you can't install more than 10 apps a week and can't have more than 3 active at the same time.

Tempting to eventually implement something similar for zap.store on iOS, but on the other hand, UX seems like a pain in the butt. Not sure, it might also serve to showcase iOS users the lack of freedom they have.
