the current caretakers of this codebase are so retarded i could scream

just go look at the issues and search for l0k18 to find my attempt 2 years ago to get one miserable PR to tidy up their modules... i just gave up after the third time revising it to catch up with all the PRs they approved while they ignored mine... simple, trivial thing.
