Did you do any calculation on this? Asking for a friend.

Well, it depends what ASIC you get your hands on, how much it costs you, how will the difficulty adjustment progress into the future, what will be the price of #bitcoin, etc.

But at price of 30k per bitcoin, using S19 pro with 110TH, you'd get around 8$ worth of corn 🌽 a day. (Considering the electricity is free)

It would take you like half a year of nonstop mining to break even on the initial investment.

But if it is a hobby or you already own ASIC, it's no-brainer 😂

It would be probably nice to have for this usecase something portable and silent. (Liquid cooling)

Ideas are already cooking in my head. 🌽❤️

Enjoyed the thought experiment, but I think in terms of effort, if one wants to travel, it’s probably better to just buy.

I’ve been thinking about this on and off for the past two years and every time I come to the same conclusion.
