not in this situation, but can it be that maybe she just want to chill a bit by herself when she gets home and that's why she is annoyed?

I mean, if she comes back home and you are in your "office-room" deep in your work, one hand handling very important business calls, other hand building stuff, sweaty from the gym work-out you just finished with muscles pumping, got the dinner ready and the table, how can she complain? lol

But like you said it can be all unconscious and all this above does not matter
