No matter how much MORE money you make you will STILL give off the "does nothing all day" vibe.
It's hardwired and you'll be dealing with an unnecessarily sour woman. She won't even know why she's annoyed.
Drive around, go to the gym, take a walk but DO NOT be there.

I mean, if she comes back home and you are in your "office-room" deep in your work, one hand handling very important business calls, other hand building stuff, sweaty from the gym work-out you just finished with muscles pumping, got the dinner ready and the table, how can she complain? lol

Women find men more-attractive when we see some evidence of productive labor, it's true.
But it's only in the modern era, that most men left the home regularly, to labor. I can't imagine that women evolved so quickly, that their instinct would be upset by a man working in or around the house. Especially, considering that the tide has turned and lots of our men are working from the home, again, and that has increased our own quality of life.
Sounds more like she's resentful of the fact that she commutes, and he doesn't. In fact, maybe she would rather be a homemaker.
