I tried the Zen phone 8 and the reader was unbearably slow
the 8 had all sorts of issues being the first gen of the series -- the snapdragon 888 also ran hot
"small" smartphones suffer from lack of economies of scale and ultimately failed because they don't look attractive on spec sheets. the market wants a lomg checklist of features and high refresh rates and powerful cameras don't pair well with smaller batteries ðŸ«
I wish the market weren't so obsessed about thickness... Then we could have fairly large batteries. Who really cares how thin your phone is?
