(Of course I'm aware that most people on Nostr know the following book, but I am used to giving recommendations for really good books that I have recently finished reading ... ;-). )

Book recommendation:

Saifedean Ammous

The Bitcoin Standard

Well-written book not only about Bitcoin, but much more about economics and monetary theory in general. As a mathematician I was not at all convinced by Keynes' theories taught at university, especially because attempts were made to justify them with models that looked like a mathematical proof, but which to me seemed more like window dressing, as they often lacked a logical basis. Ammous, on the other hand, represents the “Austrian School”, whose arguments seem logically consistent, and therefore economic theory makes more sense again.
