A reminder that you can keep using BlueWallet if you aren't relying on their custodial Lightning node that's being shut down.
It works seamlessly with LightningTipBot, Alby, and Umbrel. 4 of the 6 wallets shown here are running off my node. It's a great feeling knowing the majority of my sats are in self-custody. 😌

Yes, that’s what it’s really useful for. You can also use ZeusLN to do the same thing.

Can you ELI5 how LightningTipBot and Alby tie into an Umbrel stack running at home? Alby looks like a browser extension so I’m confused how it fits in for a damus user 🤔

Their blog post has some recommendations, but as I said in another post, you don’t have to stop using BlueWallet. You can just import another wallet from another source.
