Charts are a load of shit, even if it does, it's no big thing. You'll note from the 1987 "crash" it only erased 12 months gains (See Sept 1986)🤷🏻‍♂️. In my opinion, the next crash is going to be "The Big One!".

Dollar was rallying in early 87 and then got soggy towards the end. We are on the cusp of a dollar collapse rn but there is a little headroom still. May play out pretty similar tbh. nice catch
