Have you tried to start muting from the notifications view and gradually work your way up to the main thread.
You could try a cmd/ctrl + R refresh on the browser or quit & restart the app to refresh the cache and get the latest updates since the thread was already some hours ago.
That's exactly what I'm trying to do.
Step 1 - press notifications button
Step 2 - press one of the latest hellthread notifications in an attempt to reach the original thread
Step 3 - wait indefinatelly for "looking up message
This happens both in my mobile and laptop browser.
How about if you put the noteid on the search box or go directly to it on browser?

Clicking the link retrieves the same "looking up message"
Pasting ID in the search bar retrieves this thread (it's finding the id in your previous note)
Also, for some reason, the only notifications I have now is this thread.
Feel quite frustrated, I was bragging about how iris web was the best nostr experience so far. Guess the linits needed to be tested. Hope this exchange helps in any way.
