Actually, I was talking about the HBO TV series “The Wire”
It’s what I think of when hear Baltimore cuz it’s set there.
Brilliant TV series but difficult to get into — totally an unfamiliar subject area for me and the way they talk was almost like learning a new lingo.
But definitely worth watching it but it’s challenging to get into!
It took me 2 different tries over several years to get into it.
Some of the characters are based on real people in Baltimore.
Breakthrough role for 🇬🇧Idris Elba and 🇬🇧Dominic West. And it has a young Michael B. Jordan as a kid.
The characters Omar Little and Stringer Bell are SUPER compelling and interesting!
