This should be a good year to start making a return from them. We’re sitting at about $45/mo for feed. I may start selling some layers and/or chicks bc I really enjoy the incubation process.

We were just discussing trying to incubate some eggs too, with an old incubator my husband used when he raised quail. Or i have a friend that incubates all the time, and she's happy to give me some chicks. Our numbers have dwindled due to that damned bobcat. But its good that you are making a little money from yours.

Hopefully the new coop will keep that bobcat at bay.
