I had this conversation the other day with a friend who said they trust their bank because „they’ve been good to me.”

After I pointed out Bitcoin had gone up 5% that day but when had their money in the bank ever grown by that much? 😔 🫠

It's crazy how we all (society in general) just accept the existing financial/banking systems as simply the way it ought to be.

I have had really BAD experiences with banks, so I forget how some people don't "get it yet" because they haven't had similar hellscape moments.

People will accept whatever banks throw at them. Monthly fees? Please sir, may I have another! ATM withdrawal limits? Please sir, may I have another! Waiting til a Monday or after a holiday for a deposit to hit? Please sir, may I have another!

People just...take it.

Meanwhile, the U.S. is full of felons who are unbanked and don't have the "privilege" of having a bank account. 🙄 This is where we should be orange pilling...

And then they wonder why people are fleeing to other services

Don't worry they've got that covered 🤣

#truth 😅

Somebody show banks the 20% "apy" "coins". They could be scamming what harder

2% minus 12-16% real inflation. It’s serious alright

lol exactly, and not 2% but 0.2%. Bank of America for instance gives 0.1% APY on consumer deposits. 🤣

Getting 6% here and still losing…🤣

BoA is a fiat payment processor, not a real bank
