If everyone wants to earn and no one wants to spend, this is a huge problem.
If one has already earned so much, there is no point in continuing to accumulate sats and then taking them to the grave.
It makes no sense at all.

Ppl say they will never sell but once the halving happens and you see God candles and you btc blow up ppl will use to set life up or buy toys.. its human nature lmao
Ya even if I plan to only stack, if BTC goes to a million i will take some out to spend! 😆
My plan is when the halving happens a few months in I will take some to pay rent for like 6 months and my car insurance for like 2 years then it's back to humbling stacking again and then buy a toy lmao.. I wrote it all down lmao
It's a tale as old as Bitcoin. People mostly spend to make more money (mining) or for limited quantity high profile collectibles. It's an interesting niche but hard to run an entire business on.
There are many artists who turned down coins long ago and regret it but those stories tend not to talk about the volatility that must be endured for the noteworthy gains.
At this point make money the best way you know how and save/invest in SATs what you're comfortable with.
Nostr is so full of passion I think there's a lot of opportunity to build following long-term.
Spending is good but remember, the less sats in the system increases the value of everyone else's holding. That's the nature of what's ultimately a deflationary system.
