Office syndrome series 1#: Suboccipal muscle

- This often happens if you're a trader or someone who looks at computers for long periods.

- Symptoms: You might feel a dull headache, especially around your eyes.

- Many people mistake it for a migraine (especially in my country 😅).

Self-treatment:

1. Lie down and place a hot towel (boiled in water) around your neck for 10 minutes.

2. Massage the muscles in the picture using your fingers in circular motions for 30 seconds, three sets. You can also use tennis balls if available.

3. Lie down and put ice packs around your neck for 10 minutes.

4. Ensure your workstation is set up with good ergonomics.
