It appears like you’re assuming great parenting is everywhere. Maybe I’m pessimistic. What about the idea that rich people don’t have time to raise their kids so their nannies do 80% of it? Maybe that’s just TV shows and movies?

Mainly a tv concept. I find those are the people who make a million dollars a year and spend all of it. The people I know who are worth 9 and 10 figures spend a lot of time with their children. They understand they are investing in the future.

I know some spoiled rich kids. It does happen. Cant be sure what the prevalence is. I do think it matters how you raise them, but it's not only spending time with them - you have to avoid giving them too much free shit, especially in adolescence. They need to do some wage labor in their life, for someone who's not in their family.
