Dumbbells used to cost about $1/lb - probably ten years ago or less.

Right now you can buy a 50lb dumbbell for a whopping $234 plus tax and shipping.

Inflation is 6%

Think about all the innovation in dumbbell technology tho. They’ve really come a long way in the past 10 years
