Really. I have no use to store files. Nor does the average social media user. My phone and my external hard drive work fine.
I've used nostr for 2yrs 100% FOR FREE.

It's not that I "post nothing of value" it's I don't need to seek validation from a grp to feel stong in my opinions because my strength comes from within, not my peer gaslighting me.
