Yes, but the price of homes with sound money drops. 30 and 40 year mortgages at 2%, VA, fha, usda, and so on, all go away.
Prices should fall the older a house ans higher maintenance it is, like a car. Sure there are supply and demand factors, but overall they are a liability and should fall accordingly as they get outdated.
Wait until all the “real estate is a forced savings account” believers begin to see their net worth bleeding away. Painful.
