Too many people create whatever motive they need to feel good about their hatred towards potentially innocent people.
Yes, to satisfy their desire to hate, they need to first dehumanize your view and you however way possible, so they can hate you in peace.
What is the point of having a global feed in a centralized place if groups of people will mute each other anyway? Better do a decentralized solution that isn't even capable of having that global feed anyway but is more flexible and resilient.

Bluesky offers no benifit to the user over activity pub. The server owner still controls the private key. It's useless.
