I know the audience here and I know I’m going to catch a lot of flak for saying this, but I speak my truth.

I’m not a vegetarian and am not particularly bothered by the ethics of meat consumption. But I had an impossible burger and I gotta say it was pretty damn tasty. So I went and bought some Beyond beef jerky. Same thing.

Don’t get me wrong, real beef is far better, but like…damn. Technology is wild.

Thx for sharing your experience 🙏🏼 No flak here 😉 From my experience (as a carnivore), I have to admit that pasta made from chickpeas, peas, beans, etc. tastes awesome. Maybe even better than traditional pasta. It certainly will be interesting to see where all this goes!

Being vegetarian is totally fine as long as you have balanced meals. Being vegan is some sort of mental disorder, unless it’s a prescribed diet by a medical doctor.

My parents were prescribed a vegan diet for a while. They did great and lost a ton of weight too. But yeah, I can’t see the appeal outside of necessity. “Any consumptive use of animal products is inherently abusive” feels like a needlessly extreme position.

💯🤙
