So tragic. The death toll rises to 80 or more. I’ve never been to Hawaii but one of my roommates in college spent some of her childhood there— her mom’s roots are from the islands. I should reach out to her.

I can't imagine being trapped on an island with out of control wildfires.

Me as well. Terrifying. Our cousin & my sister’s godfather’s house was destroyed by fires during a round of California fires years ago. Thankfully, they were ok & had the finances to rebuild.
