Perhaps I’m being overly critical, but I don’t think I’m being unkind. Her voice is fine, but she has a vocal fry that annoys me to no end.
I simply pointed that out and my thoughts regarding it.
I did not insult her or call her names. I would consider it a valid criticism.
I certainly don’t enjoy feeling like I’m being lectured by a California Valley girl with an attitude problem (I don’t know if she has an attitude problem, but that’s what the vocal fry makes it sound like ).
you believe you are being objective in your assessment, but your diction belies the emotional content of your opinion. "valid criticism" typically doesn't use words like "disgusting" in reference to the object being critiqued.
unless you're talking about rancid fat or something similar.

The feeling of disgust isn’t limited describing food. Her vocal fry ( and up speak as well) literally gives me a feeling of disgust and repulsion and invokes the desire to distance myself from her and the whole podcast episode.
There are plenty of individual women in this world that I may not like but to say I don’t like women as a whole based on my opinion of a single individual is some virtue signaling type BS.
I’d feel the same way if it was a man doing it, perhaps even more so.

is a larger judgment that you extrapolate from the "disgust" you feel about her voice, where you conjure up further stereotypes that demean women.
i can imagine you do not realize the extent to which you dislike women.
That vocal characteristic is and was created by “California valley girls”. That’s not a stereotype I conjured up. It just is what it is and I don’t enjoy it.
I can see you’re aching for the opportunity to boast your self up as some sort of “defender of women” and need “conjure” up some sort of villain for the fantasy you’ve created in your head, so you could be the SWJ you’ve obviously always desired.

I Normally enjoy lectures but when it’s given by someone with that vocal characteristic I don’t.
Been able to listen to plenty of other women talk about similar topics without much issue, even bought books written by women on such topics.
So you enjoy being lectured by people who sounds like a valley girl with an attitude ? You must be her target audience.
You’re theory says more about you then it does about me.
You should take your narrative to xitter or blusky where they would be heralded as “brave” and “bold” and encouraged with “you go gurl” and “yas queen”’s.
