cows are so cute though... people raise the boys in little fields tied to a heavy rebar pinned into the ground around here, and whenever you go past them they just stare at you like they want to be friends
also i was used to just referring to them as "steers" but ox i knew was a cow kinda thing that pulls stuff, especially ploughs, just sorta thought they were special breeds like how donkeys and horses are close but not that close, close enough you can breed them but not close enough that the offspring - what are they called, or am i getting it muddled up and donkey is a cross breed of a horse and an ass... lol
yes, mule! mule is a cross between a horse and a donkey, and they are very stout but sterile
no, not even sterile... but highly variable, probably not so good to breed again because of the wide variation
