Finally getting solar after years of people coming to my door trying to get me into some complicated scheme bordering on scams. The state of California electricity rates and the changes to the power buy back agreement made me pull the trigger. Went with Project Solar. Maybe I can do something with the excess power when I have it... 😃

#Bitcoin is the future. I didn't know it. I was orange pilled by my friend and he asked me to download amethyst so I am quite new. Hope my journey on Bitcoin will be great.

Solar + Powerwall + Starlink = huge boost to resiliency.
Come for the eco-cred, stay for the prepping.
My husband and I have been looking for land in different states to preferably find land with a stream so we can do hydro power, but at least solar. Or places with cheap electricity so we can have some before our own power production is up and working...
We've been thinking $10 per kwh was expensive, then we heard that my in-laws pay about $30 per kwh?! And they have a solar system for most of their needs, but still.
Adding to that how the grid gets shut down in CA at the whim of a governor or electric company, it sounds like a great idea to add solar if you live in CA and wanna stay.
Hope everything works out great and you find productive ways to deal with any access power produced. 🙂
Highly recommend generators. Still beat batteries IMHO. I rotate 12 5 gallon fuel tanks each month so I always have fuel. We actually haven't lost power in at least 6 months. Big thing is power in CA is only getting more expensive for several reasons. Solar is a financial decision for us.
