I’m in the process of orange pilling a friend (like starting from no knowledge) and we’re setting up his first wallet. Mempool looks like shit. Had to make an executive decision to either throw more confusing stuff at him and teach him about lightning before knowing enough about base chain, or burn some sats on fees for the sake of education. Took the latter and I don’t feel bad about it. If the cost of orange pilling a guy who WANTS to know about Bitcoin is a 200 sat/vB tx, that’s money well spent.
