Two thoughts on this:
1. We need to get out of the mindset of “building nostr apps”. We simply need to build great products that people want to use, and Nostr will be the underlying protocol. So totally agree with Jack on this.
2. In the long run, we will absolutely displace X and other closed platforms. It will be a grind, but we will wrestle away the network effects from gradually, then suddenly.

One of those products will be Web of Trust Service Providers, which calculate metrics that are personalized and portable. I think we need more focus on the UX of Nostr as an ecosystem. There are a ton of exciting apps, but they're all non-starters at scale until we solve for things like onboarding and seamless federation
Absolutely! Focusing on building products people love is the key. With persistence and vision, Nostr will naturally shine, and the shift from closed platforms will come, slowly, then all at once. Exciting times ahead!
