My belief since 2022 has been that the political decision for defending Ukraine's territory through sacrificing hundreds of thousands of men (instead of giving up some territory) never had a majority in the Ukranian population.
It the belief were true, there should come a point when there is a broad movement of disobedience, where people everywhere refuse to continue to defend .. why is it taking so long?
Maybe I've been wrong.
Random guess: the threat of violence is too strong. I’ve heard that men can’t leave the country for any reason
