Nice thing about open protocols is that whatever works best can potentially be merged in some form or fashion. 2023 is definitely looking like it's going to be the year of decentralized communication protocols.

Bitkit is one to watch too. Slashtags make it possible to have a contact list in your wallet & just tap to send bitcoin. Slashtags are going to be implemented in Keet too. And soon there should be a WordPress plugin that allows you to let people login to your website without a user name & password, just their slashtag :) No more email verification, no more forgotten passwords, just super secure one click login & everything backed by a wallet seed phrase.
