I feel torn about the latest Proto Rig from Jack's company. I feel excited about one company more decentralization from Bitmain, but in terms of decentralization outside of industrial BItcoin miners to individuals, their rig still needs 208-240 volts, and runs at about 12,000 watts which will probably be more challenging for home mining in the United States. They aren't being up front about the price, which I'm guessing will be $10,000 or more per machine.
Right now, the Avalon Canaan Q is looking like one of the best options for home mining, being able to mine with 120 volts under 2000 watts, but I haven't seen enough evidence of it's endurance and reliability yet.
