Not sure of any comprehensive guides. Which client app are you using? There a couple ways to go about sending zaps. If your client app and Lightning wallet support Nostr wallet connect (NWC) that’s the most seamless way of doing it.

Right now I am mostly using the Primal web client in Firefox web browser, but I plan on experimenting with quite a few clients, including ones for desktop Linux.
I'll look stuff up and do my own research, too.

On desktop the Alby extension works great. Can link Alby with your own node or sign up for a custodial account with them with an email address. If you use the custodial option don’t keep a lot of Sats in it.
