I get it the public key is the main identifier, but can the servers registering nip-05 usernames, revoke or steal them?

and a 2 related questions, if I have to abandon my nsec/psec can I switch my username over to that?

Also does it screw anything up I change the server my nip-05 is at? like mine is iris.to right now, but I'm thinking about selfhosting on a domain I own.

NIP-05 IDs / Nostr addresses can be updated at any time to a new NPUB. You can't host iris.to, but you could host your own. You can have as many Nostr addresses as you want, but only one is displayed and active.

It’s easier than it looks, the guides are good but when I did it a few weeks ago I still needed some trial and error

Hit me up if you hit any errors and see if I made them first πŸ˜‚

Yes, if you don't own the web server, the owner could rug you. πŸ‘€

Imagine < an Anakin meme with me being padmae >

Nostr plebs won't do that… right

It would be an incredibly bad business model.

Lol the real question is can you rug yourself

Absolutely 🀣
