1. Favorite thing is that it is an open source, decentralized protocol with ease of use, and the freedom it brings. To see the community tackling problems, building and growing together.
2. That it is using github for it's development, which is controlled by microsoft, and is a centralized service and they can, for any reason take down the repository.
3. I created my first npub around march when I saw amethyst being updated frequently on fdroid, and seemed interesting to explore.
4. I use the amethyst client primarily on android. On the web, I jump between clients, don't use a specific one.
5. I struggled with understanding it's workings initially, and that amethyst was crashing a lot.
6. The struggle with bringing my friends and family over. To give them an quick and easy way to understand and switch.
Quite a long answer, but I enjoyed thinking about it and writing on it. Some answers might not be relevant or be based on my misunderstanding. Hopefully it helps.
