If you're wondering how I sync my files between my #grapheneOS phone and my #linux desktop without using cloud services, the answer is by using an #opensource software called 'Syncthing'. It synchronizes the files locally, meaning that they are transferred directly from one device to another over a local network, automatically and instantly.

I tried syncthing. I wasn't a fan. It used too much battery for me.

It depends whether you're syncing a large number of files and making numerous changes on a regular basis. There's an option in the settings that allows it to only sync when your phone is charging, which may help resolve your battery issue.

I was primarily using it to sync obsidian notes. I moved to AnyType, instead, and it has made a huge difference
