Primal is nice, but there's something about it that just doesn't feel like home. I always find myself returning to Amethyst.

same for me. though I'm trying to use Primal only for the next few days to find out what I feel it's missing the most.
I like Primal zaps more than on Amethyst. I like how it just instantly lights up indicating a zap, as opposed to Amethyst which does that little purple wheel of death where you sit there praying the zap went through.
