the carvalho entity doesn't want to play with others. so they made some crap that doesn't work with nostr and nostr already had so few users that idk what to say about their interest in actual decentralized protocols.
nostr isn't that bad you need to totally reset it. it can be built up from. barely any of the clients are anything but X clones so the field is really wide open. the protocol is a bit retarded in places but you can work with it.
