Maybe I would do what you were suggesting, somehow communicate to the 9 and get them to eliminate the infected first. Then wait for 6 blocks of bitcoin confirmations to make sure nobody turns before I open the door. 😄
I'd tell them that one of them is driving and I'm sitting by the driver with a gun. The door is by the driver, too. Tactics.

Bus is a potential cage. Driving means split attention, if someone in the cage becomes zombie. Letting people in appears to be a kindness, but if we're trapped in there with a zombie, it's the opposite. Only winning move is extend the kindness, but enforce your rules, whatever they may be.
